Mare Misto - Corfu

This place found on Google Maps and then reviewed the reviews on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a chance. Once we arrived there, we realized that there is a little fish bar paying at the register type of place with a very small menu. We asked the cook who turned out to be the owner to recommend some things, and she recommended the fried white bait fish and grilled sardines. We also had a Greek salad. Everything has proved absolutely amazing. Fresh food cooked in place and we were lucky to have a nice conversation with the owner after our meal. She runs the business alone and does a good job. She knows her food is spectacular. She also informed us that all her ingredients come from the local fish market, so that everything is fresh everyday and when it comes out of something, she can easily grab more from the market on the street. Very recommended and I am really glad that I could support a local business. When time and again in Corfu I will visit Mare Miasto again 100%.

Just amazing!!! Cosy fish bar with fresh fish, the best fish raw salad and guided by beautiful people. You have to try it!
