Diporto - Corfu

This is a local Greek restaurant, whose customers are made from locals. Nice, well maintained, impeccably clean and with the usual impeccable Greek customer service. I had the fried fresh Calamari as an appetizer and the Bianco, a local specialty of the Corfu cuisine. It is freshly caught cod in a hearty stew of carrots, potatoes and lime sauce. Both dishes were in the category Die-für. Account: 25 USD, including tip. Can you believe it?

It was the first place we visited on Corfu and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and served quickly, the waitress was really nice and helpful. We have a table in the small street, not in the building.

We had dinner here Friday night. The day to see if they have Moussaka. The owner said she would do it for us, she even stayed late for us, which was so friendly. We thought they were opened at 7 for dinner, but they closed at 7. Our misunderstanding, so when she kept the doors open to serve us the food we used to demand the day, we could not have been happier. Food, wine and owners everything wonderful. I would definitely recommend Diporto.

Friendly local atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. A beautiful port from the busy streets of Corfu. Responsible covid etiquette, after detection of vaccination checked by the staff. The quality of food was amazing, portion sizes vary depending on the ordered meal, prices are fair. We ordered pastitsada and chicken burgers, both very tasty!

This hidden place is really good. We arrive late so not much options available on the menu. But the employee made everything she could to make us happy. And we were happy. We eat well, very acceptable price. There is an outside area where you can smoke. For vegetarians, there are some options. My pasta with veggies was really good. The plates are big and if you don’t finish it all, take away. Next day the food was still good! The dessert was good and we could try this tradicional fruit from the island. I recommended it!
