Bidrage med feedbackI have been trying out Korean restaurants in Vancouver for almost two years and I have finally found a good one here. The butterfish stew we ordered was delicate, flavorful, and delicious. We paired it with rice and finished it in about 10 minutes once it was served on our table. Additionally, there is a café next to the restaurant where you can enjoy Korean traditional ice cream with red beans.
I arrived in Vancouver on Thursday afternoon and decided to try some Korean food near where I was staying. As soon as I walked into Pocha Korea Bistro on First Avenue, I was seated at a table next to a Korean family. I couldn't help but notice the various delicious dishes and hot and cold Korean foods they had ordered, which were being expertly presented by the waiter. The chefs were busy preparing seafood dishes and creating culinary art for the other tables. Most of the items on the menu were unfamiliar to me, but I did recognize some familiar dishes like Steamed Mandu Dumplings, Kimchi Bokkeumbap, Korean Tempura, Kalbi, and Japchae. However, when I saw Bulgogi, a dish I have enjoyed during my travels, I knew exactly what to order. I called the waiter over and placed my order. To my surprise, he told me about an $8 lunch special that included Bulgogi, making it an even better deal. The meal was absolutely delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Pocha Korea Bistro.
