Neptune Chinese Kitchen - Coquitlam

We ordered dinner tonight and we wanted something different from us on our trip so thought Chinese food! a combo ordered, said it came with beef-coop-suey took place with a kind of suppe, which tasted like beef to me!. spring rolls with the kombi were garnel but not specify where they were! the rest of the meal tasted as if they had just spit it out of the buffet table! what we only got was gummy and very chewing and the Chow menu tasted!

It is not a nice place, and a little high in the price for what we have ordered, but it was a very typical Chinese restaurant. the menu was in Chinese and English. if they have never eaten Chinese in China, this will be so close. as experience for them without leaving vancouver.

This restaurant is located right next to the hard rock casino. they can thru their home door or from the inside in the casino. very beautiful decoration, great place to lunch or dinner. we ordered pasta dishes and dimming sum. the noodles are great. are portioned. a little bit smaller, but enough for lunch. the personal is friendly and service is excellent. I want to come back to dinner.

This is a chain restaurant ,but the quality of the foods and services is very very different from restaurant to restaurant they do not have the N.America stander policy , same standard for all their restaurants ,it is truly different from restaurant to restaurant, this...location is be side the Hard Rock Casino in Coquitlam , lot of parking , restaurant is big and very bright and clean ,they also have two entrance for Casino players and public with family ,great ideas ! I am very disappointed about the menu and services ,only two staff working ,and the restaurant is half full , we have to wait less over 15 mins before the staff have time to bring us the tea and menu ,I understand they did try , make me upset is we try to substitute the Rice Noodle to Chow Mein ,staff said No Can DO ! Extra $3 ,it is not the money ,just like you go to Write Spot substitute Mashed potatoes ,to Fries ? I have 7 restaurants under me , I never hear any things like this in over 40 years in the restaurant business ! nothing spectacular for the beef Chow mein ooh ! Beef also extra $3 ! it cost almost $20 just for the beef chow mein alone ! better off ,we should just go around the conner to the Casino Buffet ! ,very pricey ,foods is average ,I think the set menu is lot better value , I won'T back for sure ,but I would like to try another location ,and sens are they worst this one ! what a Joke .

Great tasting food...service was very fast..restaurant and washrooms were clean...they have courteous staff...its in a great location
