Nando's Peri-peri - Coquitlam

The food was okay, but it took longer than usual to be served.

The food at this restaurant is delicious and the majority of the staff are courteous, efficient, and friendly. However, some may be a bit too eager as they start asking for your order even before you have fully entered the restaurant. Overall, the restaurant is well-maintained and clean.

I had not visited this restaurant in some time, but decided to treat myself and my daughter. However, after this experience, I have no desire to return. The staff was unfriendly and lacking in customer service skills, and I was shocked that they could not even fill a cup of fries that I paid $6 for. I was left feeling upset by the service and how my daughter and I were treated.

I have been to many Nando’s locations and this location was my first time. Casher that took our order was nice however, when we went to our table it wasn’t clean properly. Food didn’t take long. I was disappointed with the food portions which chicken skewers, fries and mash. I always get bigger portions at different locations. Spent $30 including tips and was still hungry.

I was shocked today how good our family meal at this Nandos was! It was exactly the same as back home in South Africa, and much better than ones we had in Australia or the UK. Also, the staff was very friendly and the whole atmosphere was great, replica of typical Nandos in South Africa. We'll be back soon!Kid-friendliness: There are a few decent options for kids.
