Haan Korean Bbq - Coquitlam

This is our new favorite restaurant. their spicy squid is superb. BBq meat was tasty, our order came very quickly and service was friendly.  we plan on going back many more times.

HAAN is one of my favourite Korean BBQ restaurants. I find it better than a lot of other korean bbq places in Lougheed, even if they are slightly pricier.<br/ <br/ They marinate the meat better and have really good mains/entrees such as their bossam (also marinated, not just simply boiled) and slow-cooked ribs. My friends and I tried this Korean BBQ restaurant for dinner and all of us very satisfied with our experience. The marinated meats and side dishes were very tasty. We also love their Spicy Pork Bones soup. Staff are friendly and the place is a bit small but I love the interior especially the burnt bricks. Highly recommended to try and will go back here for sure.

We finally decided to try HAAN Korean BBQ in Coquitlam after an intense craving for barbecue meat! We were not disappointed. The restaurant is clean and service is friendly. I like the interior. It also helped that it was well ventilated and you don’t leave smelling like the food itself!. They offer high quality cuts of meat. There is a two order minimum for meats. We ordered Marinated Beef Rib $30 each portion and also the Sliced Beef Tongue $17 each portion. The meats were tender, juicy and well flavoured.

We always go to this place when we are craving Korean bbq and we've yet to find a better korean bbq place in BC so far. We usually get #3 and #12 (beef side rib and pork rib) on the menu and we've never been disappointed. The meat is perfectly marinated and serves with a variety of vegetables unlike other restaurants that charge extra for a tiny dish of lettuce. The sauce, marinade and the medley of veggies are a huge part of the Korean bbq experience and this place does it just right!
