Bidrage med feedbackWe have been going to HAAN's for several years, and each time we have a fantastic experience! Korean BBQ is ideal for socializing and offers a great time. Our server was very nice and welcoming. We absolutely love their beef tartare and cold noodles. The sliced pork belly is also a favorite of ours, although we did notice that the slices were a bit thinner this time. We feel that the prices are on the higher side, and they have started charging for lettuce refills.
HAAN Korean BBQ is a must-visit for BBQ lovers looking for an engaging dining experience. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious marinated meats that are grilled right at your table. What sets Haan apart is the chance for guests to grill their own meat and create personalized wraps with fresh lettuce. Overall, HAAN Korean BBQ delivers a unique and enjoyable dining experience, making it perfect for groups.
The food here is excellent, but we recently had a very disappointing experience. I called the restaurant to confirm a reservation for 10:15 PM on a Friday night, and the person I spoke to insisted that reservations weren't necessary and that we could just walk in. However, when we arrived at 10:10 PM, we were informed that they couldn't seat us because they had stopped taking orders and were closed. We had made special arrangements for our anniversary to arrive on time, only to be turned away more than an hour before their advertised closing time of 11 PM. Before this incident, I would have highly recommended this place, but now I feel their level of professionalism is lacking. Haan Korean BBQ really needs to be more accurate about their opening and closing times.
I tried this restaurant for the first time last night and I highly recommend making a reservation. The food was delicious, the portion sizes were generous, and we really enjoyed cooking at our table. However, the service was a bit lacking; we had to flag down staff for drinks and to order additional rice and food, as we weren't checked on throughout our meal. We also had to ask for more rice when we ordered extra meat, which might be the norm, but I'm not sure. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and I would definitely return. We were a group of six, had two 2-liter beers, and the total bill was just over $200, which I think is a great value considering the prices at many places these days.
I had lunch at Haan with my sister today, and we were pleasantly surprised by their $20 lunch special. We decided to try the pork galbi, which came with Japchae noodles, kimchi pancakes, and six side dishes, all of which were fantastic. The Japchae was a bit salty for my taste, but there was enough tofu soup for two people to share. We also ordered the veggie wrappers for an extra fee, and they were definitely worth it, served with plenty of fresh lettuce. I’m looking forward to going back to try the Bulgogi special on my next day off, though it's unfortunate that the special menu is only available for lunch during the weekdays.
