Frog & Nightgown - Coquitlam

With pubs and lounges, I tend to prefer those with great atmosphere and service about quality of food, as I never expect large food from a pub anyway. And so it's with Frog and Nightgown. A warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly service... from our beautiful waitress, Bree, and I look forward to right here. The special thing about a Cheeseburger and Pommes was decent (juicy Burger, but Brötchen a little too much roasted and the Fritten Hand cut) and my drink of choice was the Dark Matter, a pint of a local dark beer that was neither Hoppy nor bitter... Bree was also efficient, friendly and non-intrusive. A real professional. I don't often come to this part of the city, but if and when I find myself in Coquitlam again, I would like to visit this facility and support a local business. Four stars.

Looking for a pub that you can run without screaming? I wasn't in the frog and nightclub in a few years because smoking was not banned, and it pushed tobacco Fast a few years ago on New Year's Day, looking for a place to lunch and a beer, I though oh well, gave an attempt. Pleasantly surprised by the lack of Molson, or Labatt swill, I was delighted to see local craft, including a personal favorite, Hoyne Dark Matter Prominately presented! Not only that it's at $5.75 for a 20 ounce pint!! A look over the menu had pubs, burgers etc, but also a brunch with bangers and mash and toad in the hole? Clubhouse sandwiches were made with Real Turkey or Chicken, not that pressed meat, nitrate filled Deli ****. Nothing beautiful inside, but a beautiful fireplace and edgy old servers that have worked out their tails to keep you happy. Oh, and a happy hour and 2-6. Very recommended for non-Browns or Cacti trailers

This is our first visit to Frog Nightgown, we came specifically to the roast beef dinner that began at 17:00. We sat at 5:40 just to hear that the server tells us they were all sold out of the roast beef... Dinner before 5:30! The server also said that this happened every Sunday, and suggested to the restaurant manager to cook more, that a roast for the Sunday special, so that they do not run out before 18:00! I hope they will hold this for the next Sunday. Beef dip was good, fish and chips were average, fish battery was not at all crisp, very soggy.

Came with friends for a drink and wing. Although this is my first time here, my friends are regular and it was obvious that our server knew them and treated us with special care... I liked that. The wings were decent, the drinks... a fair price, the ambience inviting, many free parking and location is quite central. I can see why my friends often come here. Four stars.

Service was always good here !!! Omg such a difference in the food now !!!!! Good good good at long last they must be paying for quality. Would definitely recommend here for at least a try out would be surprised if you don't say the...same!!.
