El Zacatecano Mexican - Copper Mountain

Amazing place to stop for authentic Mexican food. Best chips and salsa I've ever had. The staff is super friendly and accommodating to all dietary restrictions. The food came out extremely fast as well. I've you need to recharge after a long day on the mountain this is the place to stop.

I don't write many reviews; however, this place is worth a shout out. Complementary chip salsa. Prompt, friendly service. Hearty portion sizes; check out the quesadillas while you're there. The spicy marg was large and fabulous. We had the steak shrimp fajitas and they were delish filling.

Eaten here many times, and this was another great experience. Excellent and efficient service with good-natured staff. Comfortable, low-key, hospitable atmosphere. Menu had plenty of variety, food was very good with generous portions. Thoroughly recommended.

We loved this place so much, we dined here 3 nights during our stay. It’s one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants with fresher ingredients. We thought the portion sizes were a little on the larger side but didn’t have a problem finishing off our plates! The fish tacos, fajitas and ice cream dessert were outstanding to name a few. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Had the best house Margarita in a long time, and I highly recommend the home made sopapillas! They really ought to open a sopapillas/donut store with those babies
