Kess Kravings Llc - Coppell

Like being at a European cafe on n the middle of COPPELL! Everything here is ah-mazing!

I ordered a sheet birthday cake for my bosses birthday as we were having a group dinner down the street. I 'm in town on business and I found Kess online. For this cake, I should have just gone to a grocery store bakery as my gut told me. To save myself time (since they are nearby and I assumed fabulous) I ordered from Kess. Not only was this cake $173 (compared to like $40-50 elsewhere), it has a huge crack down the middle. While as a custom cake baker myself, I understand the value and price of a scratch made cake. However this cake is damaged and was sold to me anyway. As I was paying in the store, I found it interesting that the checkout girl mentioned to me three different times that I need to lay the cake flat in the car. Not even tilt it at an angle. While that obviously made sense, I now know why she said it so often. There 's a giant crack down the entire length of the cake and they to ok gold flecks and decorated the crack to make it look like it was intentional. This cake should 've been re-baked or at least re-frosted. Or perhaps discounted significantly. Had I just gone to the grocery, I would have spent 1/3 and had a perfect cake. Disappointed.

I love coming across dessert places in our travels. My daughter and I passed by and decided to walk in for a daddy daughter sweet tooth fix. Wow!!! The chocolate was what we were missing. 100 percent chocolate. The chef, yes, the chef came to our table and introduced herself. She was precious and such a talented creator of some amazing desserts! Highly recommend.

Come one come all!! This spot is just perfect for that afternoon delight! The chef is wonderful and the food is absolutely amazing!

We enjoyed coffee and unique upscale desserts and pastries. The owner/chef came to our table to introduce herself and share conversation; a nice personal touch.
