Fisherman's Grotto - Coos Bay

Fisherman's Grotto is always good. Not a chic restaurant, but the best fish and chips in the Koos Basin by far. They are also cheap. We've been here for years, every time we visit Charleston, we go to Fischergrotto. Friendly staff every time and fast service to get a good meal quickly. Definitely recommend this place.

We stopped by the city and had a good meal. This place is busy because they have great food. There are a wide range of options, but we had the butter Scallops and Halibut fish and chips. Located back atmosphere with friendly staff. If I did it again, I could preorder because of their popularity. Definitely recommend.

We waited for our food for over an hour after we orderTwo family of four received serve before us and they curve after us around 30 minutes. Children's castles weren't with Ketchup or Mayo they had to do. My sandwich hardly had anything on it.

We've been in Coos Bay for two years and have been looking for a great fishfield. Our friends from California came in, and we thought we would try Fischer-Grotte. By far the best place we ate. Not only was the food very tasty, we had eight people on our party they immediately brought us into the way, everyone in our party order something else, and it was exceptional!!! Do not waste your time in places other than Fischer-Grotte. If you want a wonderful atmosphere, with people with personality go to Fischer-Grotte. Hello to say John!!!

Fabulous fresh pasta with seafood and lightly grilled veggies make this a real winner! Bring a carryout container with you. I couldn't come close to eating it all at one sitting. A quick microwave heat up and you will have a lovely second meal.
