Shelley's Thai Restaurant

For the past three years, whenever we visit Coolum on our annual holidays, we always make sure to dine at this restaurant. Their lunch menu, priced at $9.90, offers a wide variety of delicious options and is definitely worth the money. We highly recommend trying the Pad Thai and the laksa.

We have been to Shelley's before and have always been impressed with the service and food. However, when we visited on Sunday night for Mother's Day, we had to wait 45 minutes before our order was taken. One couple ended up leaving without ordering, but we understood that it was a busy and special day with many takeout orders. Despite the wait, the food was delicious and we will definitely return in the future.

Definitely our new favourite Thai in Coolum - 4 dishes - a noodles, stir fry, salad and curry - all great flavours, nice and spicy without blowing your head off (and thats the standard medium) - but where you could still taste the fresh herbs. Good mix of veggies and meat in what we ordered and generous portions.

My daughter saw this restaurant today. It was about midday, saw the lunch menu, $9.90 menu. We both chose chilli basil chicken. We didn't have to wait long about 5-10 minutes and it arrived at our table. Large portions and absolutely delicious. One of the best I have tried. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

The service was good, The hours are poor for us southerners they close at 8! but to be fair the whole street shuts.The food was flavoursome, price ok but not traditional more a blend of Asian flavours you decide if that's good or bad? I prefer pure.
