Hot Chilli Bean Thai Cafe

The food was great at this restaurant. However, we were the only guests there initially and had to request assistance from one of the four employees to place our order. We had to ask them to clear our table and then again for dessert. No one checked on us during our meal, and we had to ask for a second round of drinks. Overall, the staff could benefit from some customer service training.

Small restaurant with most of the seating outside.Wait staff were youn g,enthusiastic ,and efficient. Entrees of Satay chicken and Curry puffs were good,the satay in particular fresh and tender. We had two mains,one of fresh ginger with seasonal vegetables from the wok and a Massaman...beef curry..The Massaman was the stand out,the beef so tender and the sauce so tasty. This restaurant is not BYO and I thought the wine list average.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend. We decided to grab takeaway and we’re not disappointed. The food was so good. The flavours were amazing.

We ordered pad Thai, pad see yew and some entrees. Both Thai meals were very average the entrees were pretty much all just processed frozen items that had been deep fried. Not sure why it’s rated as the 5th best place to get food.. Would...not recommend.

Put in an order at 5:30pm and waited until 6:30pm to see how far the order was (we live 10min away). Got told “oh the order wasn’t put it correctly, it won’t be ready until 7:30pm”. Sorry you want me to wait 2 hours for...a local delivery?. I’m a local and the food is lovely, unfortunately never going to attempt a delivery ever again. Annoyed that we would have sat at home for 2 hours waiting for our food had I not contacted them. I canceled the order in the end.
