Compound Surf & Espresso - Coolum Beach

I really enjoy the vibe of this place with its surf culture atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly. We had to wait a bit for our takeaway coffee, but it was worth it. Although the coffee was a bit too mild for our taste, it was still one of the better ones we've had.

This is a fantastic little café with excellent coffee and a selection of surf accessories available. It's the perfect spot for enjoying a coffee after a surf session.

This restaurant is conveniently located near the main shopping area and offers a mix of coffee and surf equipment. They serve high-quality coffee and delicious baked goods, including a tempting brownie. In addition to coffee, they also sell surf equipment and accessories. The cappuccino and mocha we had in the morning were excellent. As a bonus, there is a top shop next door where you can buy fresh mango, pineapple, and other high-quality produce. Forget about Coles and check out this hidden gem instead.

Stopped for a coffee and Cronut when in the area and not disappointed. Service was friendly and efficient, and the coffee was very good. Cronut filling was better than expected. There is surf gear available to buy if you wish to browse.

I waited literally 30 minutes for just two coffees. I'm not exaggerating, I got a call just after ordering and the coffees came out 30 minutes after this call. I've worked in hospitality and completely understand that places get busy, but we weren't even given...a warning about the wait. The coffee was absolutely incredible, probably the best in Coolum by a long shot. I'd recommend trying it out but you should definitely ask how long the coffees will be unless you're happy to wait for 30+ minutes without so much as a warning. This cafe is really cool, the self serve toast station is an awesome idea. Probably not for everyone, but I'm more than happy to toast my own bagel and add my own spreads to get it at a more reasonable price.
