I have stayed at this establishment multiple times. It is clean and quiet, with a helpful owner who made accommodations for my wife who has health issues. Overall, it was a good experience, and the fact that they do not allow pets is a bonus. The location is in Cavanagh Bay at the south end of Priest Lake, with a nice restaurant nearby.

We recently stayed at Blue Diamond Marina Resort for six nights and had a wonderful experience. The resort is perfect for those seeking a quiet and relaxing getaway. It may not be ideal for dog owners or party-goers, as it is a place with strict rules and structure. However, once you settle into the peaceful bay just outside of Coolin, you will realize it is a hidden gem. I enjoyed the cleanliness of the resort and the convenience of having a boat slip. The location is great for accessing various excursions. When my boat had some issues, the owner provided me with the contact information of a reliable repair person who promptly fixed the problem. The staff at the resort were also helpful in resolving another issue with my boat. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Blue Diamond Marina Resort.

Whenever I go to this restaurant, it seems impossible to get service. I always have to search for a staff member to help me, and even then, I have to call for assistance. This is not acceptable.

We stayed here over Memorial weekend and were thankful that the location was very close to our entire family that was camping nearby. We had previously read the reviews and were trying to go in with an open mind even though they aren't great. The resort portion is actually the downstairs of the owners home which is sectioned off and split into 2 different rooms. We were told at check in that smoking is only allowed in their smoking section and no noise after 11 pm, which we freely agreed to. On our 2nd day their the owner approached me as I walked back from the smoking section and asked if we had been smoking in our room. I had told her, no, as you can see I'm walking back from the smoking section and she said well since it was on my clothes that I would need to strip down before going inside. Seeing the shock and disgust on my face she offered instead for me to spray Frebreeze on myself prior to going inside, which I obliged rather then flash the entire lake busy full of weekender boaters. On the last night I was here I had returned to the room around 10 pm while my husband stayed at the campfire with family so I could take a nice hot shower before bed. After getting out of the shower I found to my utter dismay that I had been locked into the bathroom and out of my room. There are 2 doors to this bathroom, one leading to her entry way and the other leading to our room and I have no idea how or why you can lock yourself into the bathroom instead of locking other people out. The lock itself was on backwards. I had to let myself into her part of the house and I stood at the bottom of her stairs flipping the light on and off yelling help for 30 minutes before she finally woke up due to having to go to the bathroom not due to me yelling. She was able to find a key for the outside door but not the bathroom. My husband got back right after all that and when we looked at how I could have gotten locked into the bathroom we realized the lock had bumped against the microwave which was directly behind it and pushed the lock in. This was a truly mordifying night. After our experience at this resort we will definitely be more careful about our accommodations in the future.

We rented a pontoon boat from this marina. The lady that rents it is extremely unpleasant and we will never rent from her again. The boat itself was a 2018 with a 60hp outboard...also way underpowered for this lake. It works if you want to “put around,” but driving across the lake or to upper priest, you will max our at 15 mph. So you will spend your entire day, and gas tank, slowly stumbling across the lake getting hit by large waves.The only good part of our rental was the young man who actually checked out/in the boat, very friendly.We have had many friends tent from Hills Resort and had a great rental experience...we made the mistake of not driving around the lake and renting there. Hopefully no one will make the same mistake.
