Rolbeto's Mexican Food - Coolidge

Rolbetos Mexican Food is by far the best spot in Coolidge for authentic Mexican cuisine. I've been enjoying their tortas for about three years now, and I think I might be addicted!

This is truly the BEST homemade Mexican food I've ever had! If you're looking to try their Menudo on a Saturday, make sure to place your order as soon as they open because it sells out quickly! Personally, I absolutely LOVE the beans and the flavorful shredded beef in the tacos. They're not greasy or bland at all. The owner is incredibly kind and will do everything he can to accommodate you. The service is excellent, the food is fantastic, and the inside is clean (but my favorite spot is dining outside on the patio when the weather is nice).

This will be my final order from this restaurant. Frozen, store-bought TV dinners are just as good, if not better, than what I received. The chips and salsa are a complete letdown. I try to support local businesses, but the food here is just bland—chewy carne asada, uninspired rice and beans, soggy chips, and salsas that are mostly onions and barely enough to cover the chips. It's overpriced for what you get, and there’s no seasoning to speak of. The only thing that was decent were the fish tacos, but they clearly come pre-frozen. I'm very disappointed. Sorry, but I just don't think this place is good.
