Bamboo House - Cookstown

This place is a jewel at JB MDL. Their chefs are amazing when it comes to Thai food. You will not make you on the menu, the Wheel Nah and Pad Prik King are the outstanding items for me. I can also say that their owner is trendy with its beverage selection. It is only cash and the building is overcrowded and not appeasing to the eyes, but who cares. Eat here!

The food is great and they will not even make things in the menu. The appearance is nothing to praise and not much space to sit. Thai is her specialty and her pad Thai is some of the best I had.

Excellent authentic food as you can find in North Japan. Try the Gyoza Special! It is a tiny place that comes out for its ambience with excellent food!

I thought this place was outstanding. Their food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The spring rolls were piping hot and crisp, the pad thai was traditional and amazing, and the spicy fried rice was intense and delicous. The thai tea was easily the best thai tea I've ever had. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is my favorite restaurant around the AFB. This place is great and I really like the owner. They are good people and the food is awesome. Just have patience because they take their time making the food but it is worth the wait. Please thing to do is call early before peak time. Peak time is around 12:00. Call about 11:00.
