Poet's South - Cookeville

I mean to just drive through Poet’s Coffee Shop but it sucks me in every time. Good coffee, warm and friendly atmosphere, idea place to sit a while. My breakfast is bacon, egg, Swiss on croissant. People around me work on computers, phones, read, and talk. Soothing background music and I sit here soaking it all up. Crisp temps outside, long sleeves on, smell of coffee and the warmth of the cup in my hands. A little bit of heaven right here, right now. Fall has arrived and I have the fever. Hope your day is as beautiful, peaceful, fall-ish and comforting.

I was looking for a caffeinated treat and decided to try this place out. Not only was it great coffee. I was blown away by the caliber if customer service. The price was good as well. I would highly recommend this place.

Love the drive thru option, all the parking, and the coffee!! So happy to have and support a great local coffee shop!

Not only is the coffee AMAZING the staff is sooooo nice!! It's great to have nice customer service early in the mornings when you just want some great coffee to start your day
