Poet's South - Cookeville

I travel all across the US, this is still my favorite coffee shop.

Always great coffee and food. By far, it is my favorite coffee shop here in town. The mocha is my go-to drink.

I'm not from Cookeville and I needed a cozy place to hang out while waiting for some stores to open and was pleasantly surprised by this cafe. Got the best iced chai I've ever had and a delicious bagel sandwich. Service was fast and they even have a drive through. If I lived here, I'd be here every day!

I ordered an avocado croissant and a large Carmel frappe. The croissant was good, but I was very disappointed in how my Frappe was made and tasted. The Frappe was powder, ice, and then filled the blender with water. It did not taste good, nor did it have a caramel flavor. The atmosphere was nice, and the server was OK.

Really friendly and great tasting coffee. The food is always on par, the coffee beans are fresh, and the staff has always been nothing but wonderful Everytime. Clean facilities, known around town to be the good coffee place : Dietary restrictions: I’ve had to modify food for my son, the staff worked with me to ensure it was still good ?? Kid-friendliness: I’ve brought my happy (hyper kids inside and the staff or other guests have never made me feel they are unwelcome. Delicious food to keep kids occupied ??
