Poet's Coffee - Cookeville

This is such a quaint place. It's quiet and just a nice place to drink a cup of coffee, read a book, do some studying or just hang out and talk with friends. Highly recommend

Delicious avocado toast. Especially loved the pickled onions on it, and it was a great pairing with goat cheese. The toast itself was very crisp, almost like a Melba toast. It’s not common to have toast done like that so it was a pleasant surprise. Also had the hot lavender latte. Slightly bitter taste in the coffee, but overall not bad. Ambience was clean and bright.

Poets is a rare find nowadays. We brought our dog Oscar (traveling through Cookeville) and they allowed him to sit with us inside! The white mocha was excellent and the avocado toast was to die for. On sourdough!! Will definitely be back. Tylan was a huge help in deciding there are tons of options.

Between the service, the lack of selection and actual quality of my bagel it def was NOT worth the almost $9 I spent.

Traveling thru Cookeville and stopped in for coffee and açaí bowl. One of the best açaí bowls we’ve had. Açaí not too sweet with generous toppings of fresh berries, and delicious granola. Efficient and friendly service.
