Bellacino's Pizza Grinders - Cookeville

First visit for a day date, and our server miss Alicia, was so patient explaining the various sizes available as well as recommending some fan faves. We were advised ahead of the prep time of our food, which we appreciated, since here fresh is what they are all about! The smell of baking bread when we walked in was intoxicating! The tiffany lamps lend an old world charm while you are waiting in mouth-watering anticipation. My husband even chimed in saying that his 9 inch stromboli was the BEST he has ever eaten! (He is a self proclaimed food expert) We left full, with smiles on our faces and promises to come back to explore their extensive menu options. I can hardly wait!

Great Italian sub sandwiches. Meats are well cooked and of very high quality, not processed. Bread is fresh and toasted to perfection. Portions generous. Not oily at all. The restaurant is clean and staff friendly. Always go for lunch when in Cookeville to visit family.

Miss. Lorene was very polite at the register. A service... also Mr. Tommy was great at making our eating experience wonderful... Great food and service..

Bellacino's used to be top-notch, at least in the quality of their pizzas and grinders, but lately the food has been not too great. Ordered a 16 pizza tonight, 3 topping. The bell peppers were raw, as if they were tossed on AFTER the pizza went through the oven. In the couple of times I've went there personally of late the staff was not friendly either. Guess that's what happens when you prioritize DEI over hiring people who actually want to work.
