Top Wok - Conwy

Top wok is always good. I try to vary my choices across the menu and have never been disappointed , the Cantonese king prawn was excellent. Would always recommend top wok. Never go anywhere else

To be honest, our usual takeaway was closed, so we tried Top Wok in Abergele. We had telephoned our order through and decided to collect as delivery was going to take longer. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent and piping hot. Will use it again and recommend it to all.

Went there last night because out usual takeaway was closed. The person who took my order was pleasant and obliging and the wait wasn’t very long. As I was waiting, on looking around, it looked very run down with numerous notices written on empty white paper bags stuck randomly on the wall. Something that could so easily be improved upon. Food was mixed. My fried chicken in chilli sauce with fried rice was pleasant but a little bland. Rather a lot of onion and green pepper but plenty of chicken. On the other hand, my wife’s special chow mein, made with thin noodles upon my request was a major disappointment. Far too many noodles with very little meat protein. The balance was totally skewed towards the cheapest ingredient and most of it went in the bin. Nothing that can’t easily be rectified but I won’t be revisiting.

We have always been very impressed with the food from here, had the appetisers which were OK, not impressed with the chicken. I had a dish which in the past has been awesome, but disappointed today, maybe new chef I don't know, but our treat turned out flat as I left a lot of food. Hope that they start producing food like they used to.

Well, one reviewer said dont order vermicelli with chicken, i did, and enjoyed it! this isnt a posh restaurant, its a take away, and they do their job perfectly fine ! i look forward to ordering again!
