The girls putting the subs together seemed to have no idea, when asked what I wanted for toppings, I asked for chillis, she didn’t know what were the chillis. No chilli sauce. Worst of all the bread was rubbish. It was not fully baked and doughy. My partner’s sub was flattened, looked like someone had sat on it, the whole thing was only about 1 inch thick. I pointed out my disappointment to the woman who I took to be in charge, she looked at me somewhat surprised and mumbled something about passing my feedback on. Come on, it’s a Subway, not rocket science, no excuse for such poor standards and woeful customer service.
I ordered a fine catch salad and when I arrived home and checked the box (when the young boy was making it I went to choose a drink trusting it could be made well without me having to watch) I saw that I had barely and salad that was plain with no tuna or poached egg which were the main parts of the fine catch salad. Very disappointing
Wow! Came in around lunch time, was served by Rhys who sanitised and was really careful with my gluten sub. Food tasted great, thank you guys. Would highly recommend!
The staff are clearly trying however neither knew what they were doing when it came to the orders. There were 2 boys. The first boy seemed uncomfortable when asking what we wanted and was frantically looking for things as he prepared the sandwiches. I asked for a subway melt which I get in every store. He had no idea what went in it so just made it up. I didn’t complain as it really wasn’t an issue. However, I don’t think these to boys should have been left alone when neither seemed to know what was going on. I thought maybe the first boy was new but he never asked the other boy for help and the other boy just watched him do it wrong. When it came to paying neither of them knew what we were paying as they had no idea how to price up the sandwiches. I can’t fault the boys as they did try however they clearly haven’t had any proper training. I understand new staff not knowing everything, but there should be someone there who does. Just to help them.
I've been to several Subways and enjoy the food but the service in the Llandudno store always leaves a lot to be desired. Slow, unfriendly and and incompetent today (and second experience like this). Sandwich made badly, so some of the filling fell out. Second sandwich (ordered together) took so long, the first Sandwich went cold. Service so slow, a long queue quickly formed behind us. I'll try and save my subway visits for the Bangor store, where staff always seem friendly and capable of making a sandwich. Also, masks worn by staff, leaning and talking over the food.
