Went for Sunday roast, chose the 3 course for £18.95 (plus £2.50 to have all meats on roast) everything was cooked to perfection. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Only thing I thought was a shame was lack of customers and that’s a shame on them because they’re missing out. I have just been here for a Sunday dinner with my partner who is a few years younger than me, when we ordered our food and drinks the waitress yelled over the bar to see my partners i.d but not mine, this was very insulting and embarrassing as I felt she was implying I was buying an underage girl alcohol, as someone who is 30+ years old i found this implication disgusting and offensive, and it frankly ruined my Sunday afternoon. As if this wasnt bad enough the food was made to a very poor standard, the veg was way overcooked and was like mush, we were only given two roast potatoes each and the meat was overcooked and dry. Very disappointed and upset with this experience. I will never be returning here and I advise other potential customers to avoid. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The Marine is a staple part of Old Colwyn. Popular with CBFC fans and locals. Good beer, good atmosphere, friendly service and generally a nice place for a pint or 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A good British pub with quality beer. Outside space that can accommodate large groups if required. Staff very helpful and helped me get a football ticket for the colwyn bay game. Well recommend Price per person: £1–10 Atmosphere: 5
