Golden City - Conwy

Very dissappointed with takeaway food from here. Obviously heated up from last night. Meat was tough and overall unpleasant as been double/triple fried. Shame as it was a good takeaway in the past. I don't feel as if they care what they give customers. It was awful, definitely not freshly prepared.

I've been coming here for the last few months occasionally. I only come here for the salt and pepper box ... it is absolutely delicious and I can't recommend it enough. Most Chinese takeaways do their own version of this box but Golden City's is far better- the quality of the food is greater as everything just looks and tastes fresh. Try it. Just be sure to drink plenty of water after!

6 different takeaways everyone good! Well worth travelling from Penmaenmawr for far superior food. We ordered the same meals from both places to make a fair comparison and they beat Penmaenmawr easily

Gutted, the food tastes lovely but the last takeaway I had I found a long thick black hair in my chips. I had heard from someone before they had found hair in their food before from here but because it was a few years ago I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunatley this is enough to put me off from being able to order from here again.

I've been going here for years and its always been fantastic. I can't say that about any other Chinese in the area. Beef curry or beef in OK sauce is highly recommended. Staff are very helpful and will put in or take out anything you request. Vegetarian dishes are also top class.
