Coastal Ale House - Conway

The food was great and the waitress was friendly, but the owner/bartender was rude. We went for happy hour and requested a song from the DJ. We started to enjoy the song "Shipping Up to Boston" by Dropkick Murphys, but the owner didn't like that one of us was tapping the beat on the table. He had the DJ turn off the song. We decided to leave and find a better atmosphere. The bar cleared out after happy hour anyway. We will not be returning.

Best food and drinks in SC! The Diablo burger is to die for. The owner and staff are so incredibly friendly. Truly the best place to eat in all of South Carolina. 11/10

I recently went to this restaurant for lunch with some friends and overall enjoyed the food and service. Unfortunately, I have to dock a star due to the additional 4% charge for using a credit card. The total bill came to over $75 for four lunches, which included three DiabloBurgers and a French Dip sandwich. I found this to be quite expensive for a casual bar lunch. I have definitely learned my lesson for next time.

Decent food and service, but every time I 've gone I always thought their food quality ? price. Lunch specials are a little comical. Saved 25¢ versus normal price, but paid an extra $2 for fries. 4% extra to use a card. With a little work to theirmenu and pricing, this place could be better.

This restaurant is hidden behind medical office buildings, but once you locate it, you'll be delighted that you did! It was our second visit and the food was fantastic. Kudos to the chef. They offer both bar food and a full menu. Our server was wonderful, attentive, and knowledgeable. On our first visit, we happened to come on music trivia bingo night on Thursdays, which we didn't know about and had a lot of fun. Definitely check it out. We will definitely be returning.
