Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I live the street of Black Cap Grille so we often visit the restaurant. It's so nice to have such a good restaurant nearby. We love the fact that the menu often changes, but that they have some of the elements we love, such as the shells and the delicious homemade chowder shells. We find the atmosphere very high and up-to-date. The staff is friendly and efficient. Food and cocktails are very good and fair in today's market. We look forward to our next visit, which will be tonight with our children and grandchildren!
I visit NH a handful of times a year and finally just stopped in here with my husband a couple weeks ago. Our experience was excellent. Our server was a long red hair having young hipster type and he recommended the Honduran shrimp appetizer which was seriously delicious. He was a pleasure to have serve us, food and drinks were delivered promptly. We enjoyed the harvest soup and the goat cheese salad with grilled shrimp. Will absolutely be going back as we found the food quality and atmosphere to be the best in the area.
I visited this restaurant after a long hike in the White Mountains. We began our meal with the crab cake appetizer, which was delicious and beautifully paired with asparagus. For my main course, I ordered the duck accompanied by scallops and pork belly. The dish featured a generous portion of scallops, which were well-seasoned and served with a unique sauce and crispy potatoes. However, the pork belly was cut into a single cube, and I found it a bit drier than what I’m used to. I would have preferred at least one more piece. The staff were friendly, and overall, it was a decent experience.
You can truly enjoy dining outdoors with your dog here. After a 1600-mile road trip, I've found this city to be very unwelcoming to pets, but this place is a breath of fresh air. The soup and burger were both excellent. And Kim was incredibly helpful; I was able to leave my dog in her care while I stepped away to use the restroom. The staff here are genuinely good people!
If you're in the area and craving onion rings, this is the place to go. They also offer a selection of mocktails listed on the menu. For lunch, there are plenty of sandwich options, although the prices are a bit higher compared to other local spots. The atmosphere is lovely, and we noticed some children dining nearby. The children's menu is reasonable by default.
