The only thing is that we stood there waiting to be seated as every employee looked at us but never even tried to speak or acknowledge that we were there. So we gave up waiting and just went to the bar. Even then, weweren?t greeted until we were asked what we wanted to drink. But after the interactions began, the bartender was really nice tous. The food was pretty good and the margaritas had a good taste but were kind of weak. But overall our visit was ok enough toforget the wait until we left. I don?t live far from this location but I probably won?t visit frequently.
Kindly have to say the customer service needs a mayor improvement. Came in by myself and headed to the bar which had one customer. 3 servers at the bar, one took my order and totally forgot me . No utensil , no acknowledgement of well service andmore than 5 min trying to get their attention for the bill since they were socializing with coworkers.
I ordered a curbside meal for my husband and myself, which included the Original Ribeye Steak, loaded mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. I requested my steak to be cooked medium-rare and made sure to double—no, triple-check—my order before finalizing it. When I arrived at the Chili's just 1.7 miles from my home, I got there six minutes early to pick up my meal, hoping to ensure my steak would still be warm and not overcooked in its own juices. However, when I finally sat down to eat, my steak was so overcooked it resembled beef jerky! It was burnt in some spots, and I could hardly chew it. Unfortunately, I had to give it to my dogs since neither my husband nor I could manage to chew it, even when cut into tiny pieces. To address the issue, I called and waited on hold for about 20 minutes before being informed that a manager would call me back within the same time frame. That call never happened. I tried again the next day and got the same runaround, so I resorted to emailing them. It took about four or five days for them to respond. On day three, I called again and finally reached a visiting manager who gracefully apologized and rectified my order. The next steak was still somewhat overcooked, but at least I could chew it, so I was satisfied with that. My advice for anyone ordering curbside from Chili's on FM 78 in Converse, TX, is to thoroughly check your meal before you leave the restaurant. And if you're ordering steak, definitely cut into it to ensure it’s cooked to your liking. Enjoy your meals, everyone! Nom nom!
This location really needs significant improvements, as many other reviews have noted. I ordered curbside, and the customer service and order accuracy were average at best. Things took a turn when my mom discovered a piece of hair in her food, as shown in the picture. It's worth mentioning that she has short blonde hair. I hope the management can address these issues, as I know I'm not the only unhappy customer.
The food was fantastic! I just wish I could remember our server's name, but he was polite, respectful, and provided excellent service. On our next visit, we plan to sit in the same spot, and if he offers us outstanding service again, I’ll be sure to tip him a bit more than last time. I definitely recommend this place. The only downside was that the chips were a bit too salty, but that’s clearly not the server’s fault.
