Bidrage med feedbackI stayed at the Shanti Resort and died in the middle of the night of hunger (writing at 1.30am), so decided to take a walk along the Hampi guesthouse railway, hoping to find something to eat. To my surprise I saw this little café open...and served happily (although few) people. I ordered Egg roasted rice and chicken manchurian and boy oh boy it was delicious. But when I visited Hampi last week (14th-15th Jan), I found this place shaved. They asked with the locals and informed that this was demolished a few weeks ago for illegal construction. God, I'm going to miss this place (my late night hunger savior).
The hidden café, known for its peaceful atmosphere and remarkable artwork on the walls, is a must-visit in Hampi. Foreign tourists seeking a taste of Indian mysticism should make a stop here and perhaps contribute to the art on the walls. While the food is decent, the friendly and accommodating staff make up for it. The café offers ample parking and even provides guitars for musically-inclined guests. Visitors may also be treated to fireside gatherings and impromptu music performances in the evenings.
Rasta Café is a great place to chill out all day long. In the hot hours you can find some relief in the shade and under the fans and in the evenings cool and relaxed atmosphere where it's easy to meet other travellers. Staff is...super friendly and the cooks make amazing indian food (try indian curries, tandori and nans! Wi-Fi is working good, in case of electricity breakups they have a generator :
For bengalurians dont get confused with the one in Mysore Rd, Never the less a good and chilled out place to hangout when you are on a Solo trip or just accompanied with your soul mate. Grab all the continental taste good. Spend valuable time here and take a walk in the ruins of hampi. Bicycling. Motorcycling. are not a bad option too
