Transcending Tea

This place does not appear to be open. I'm at the location and see nothing with that name.

Heed all the negative reviews. Buy at your own risk. They charged me $80, apparently lost all the tea that I ordered, and still haven’t sent the replacement they remade which is now 2 weeks overdue. A month after my order, they finally sent the small portion they did have in stock, supposedly 30 cups worth of tea because they rarely list the actual weight of the tea, well I received 4 sample size packs, two of which were the wrong flavor, which means I spent $80 for four cups of tea. They don’t respond to phone calls, they stopped responding to my messages two weeks ago. Don’t give them your money because you may never receive what you paid for.

As I was patronizing the juice bar in the same plaza I saw this business and decided to check it out. n nWhen I walked in it reminded me of a tea store that was once located inside Cumberland mall. The staff confirmed that it is the same company! They also confirmed that the company is black owned. n nThe store aesthetic consists of walls of loose leaf teas! The teas are in colorful tins. They had a sample section up front and a section of tea accessories. n nI was asked what type of tea I enjoyed. I advised I am a matcha and chai kind of girl. I was directed to their matcha selections. One was a matcha lemonade. I was not brave enough to true that one. I inquired about the best selling tea. I was told that the toasted almond went viral. I opted to give that one a try. The ingredients include black tea, almonds, and vanilla. The benefits are to help boost metabolism. It is a great coffee replacement. The package notes that the caffeine is high. n nI decided to wait and try the tea until the next morning since it is high in caffeine. I followed the instructions on the bag and must admit that I really enjoyed this tea. I paired it with a little froth milk and it was the perfect treat. I don’t have to have ultra sweet drinks so it did not need any additional sweetener for my liking. n nOverall I feel like this is a great store! If you love loose leaf tea you must stop by.
