Fresh ingredients used to make soups from scratch are what make this place tops for lunch. Pick a soup from the 4-5 daily choices and pair it with either the sandwich or salad of the day. The plate also includes a cookie. The soups have Weight Watcher points noted for those keeping an eye on things. The parking lot is atrocious, payment options are cash or cash (no credit cards) and the place has nowhere near the indoor seating needed to manage the lunch rush. Luckily they have outdoor seating in warmer months. Takeout soups are also available in a fridge.

Pretty disappointing, considering the zagat score. Went with my mother, who was also disappointed with the blandness ofthe soups. She claims it's because we're Latino, so we're used to more flavorful food, but I don't see that as a good excuse. The andouille sausage in the black eyed pes soup did not taste the least bit meaty nor spicy. Suffice it to say, I don't think I'll be giving it a second chance.

I could eat here everyday with the daily menu of new items. everything is superb and there is never a day that something on the menu doesn't sound good. bit of a wait but well worth it. my go to lunch spot.

The food is good, but the wait.... Come early if you don't wait to spend 20 minutes in line.
