Parkway House Family - Concord

Recently ate here for the first time... sadly it will also be the last. Had cold food, sent it back, came back minutes later so I asked if it had been microwaved.. a few minutes later I heard the foul mouth of the cook using choice words about my inquiry. My young children could also hear his foul mouth. Sad thing is the food was good. There was ZERO management on hand to deal with my problem. This man's mouth needs to be controlled. Period.

Good Family Home Cooking. Used to work down the street from this place and ate there often for lunch. Had an occassion to stop in again the other day and little has changed.<br/ <br/ This is a younger sister restaurant from the other Parkway House over on Hwy 29 going toward the Speedway. Similiar menu's focusing on Home Style Cooking. <br/ <br/ The food is very well prepared and plenty of it. Service is Ok at best. Restaurant itself needs a facelift as the decor has become worn and dates.<br/ <br/ This is still a good restaurant but if I had to choose between the two Parkway House's,I would have to give the edge to the original location. Food is comparable but the other location is a little friendlier, service is better and even though it's older, seems fresher and not as stale.

Great place to go with the family! Try the spicy chicken salad and the chicken and dumplings yummy!!!

Great service, they took good care of us, but the kitchen was extremely slow getting our food out to us. Our order was not complicated. Burgers, fries, chicken strips, and salads.

Food was very good. They are shorthanded so service was a little slow. But they did keep our cups filled while We waited for our food.
