Papi Clary's Kitchen - Concord

It really sucks to write this review. I have been a fan of this place for like 2 years now and recommended it to bunches of people as it was amazing! Every time I go now it seems to get worse and worse. There is no consistency in what you order. Birria mac n cheese was fire before but last two times was a greasy mostly liquid mess that was closer to a macaroni noodle soup with wet pork on top. It used to be so balanced. I'm really hoping the owner reigns in the employees and cooks because this place was so good until new faces started to show up behind the counter who obviously don't care about the quality of service or food.

Why has it taken me so long to post a review. I have been a huge fan since Papi was selling from her back yard! Everyone knows about the spicy chicken sandwiches but there's way more. The Birria lumpia is so damn good. The tacos are better than most Mexican joints, Mexican here, puro Jalisco compas. The rotating specials are a must catch along with their summer drinks on rotation. If you haven't come by...what's holding you back?!?!?

This place is fire!! Good food, friendly service and chill atmosphere. Definitely try the chicken sandwich!

Went here for lunch today for the first time and got their fried chicken sandwich which is soooo good love the slaw on the sandwich and the fries too. My coworkers got the Birria grilled cheese and tacos and said it was good also! Will definitely be back.

Yo these homies are family and rock that birria! Glad I work in concord on eve in a while so I can grab some of that birria...
