Mayflower Seafood - Concord

I ate here today with my wife and some friends and she had the jumbo deep fried shrimp and it was really good. The hush puppies were really good salad was pretty good. I had the flounder dinner and it was over cooked. A friend of ours had broiled shrimp and she said hers was over cooked also. Greek chicken was also overcooked. The portions are huge. Sweet potato was yummy. Service was slow. It took forever to get refills on drinks. Prices good. Lots of senior citizens love this restaurant

The food service were great. On 6/17, the food was about $9/person. The crocker special was $6.99. Add on tea tax the meal was about $9. On 6/18, our meals averaged $13/person bc of our food choices. Everything was great.

I have eaten at a seafood restaurant in Salisbury and the food is not worth the price. However, I got my money worth at Mayflower. On Wednesday they have 50% off for loyal customers. My bill should have been around $40.00 for 4 adults, but my total was $24 and some change. Also, this is the only restaurant I have found chicken chunks and they soft and and tender not hard at all.

Big portions, everyone in our group was happy with what they ordered and service was okay. For what it's worth, the interior needs a serious refresh and that makes me wonder how the kitchen looks in the back. As a point of reference, take a look at the poster of the presidents in the lobby and you'll see the most recent one is Bill Clinton.

I normally come here and get the fried croaker special. Being on a diet I enjoyed my options wasn't bad at all.
