Trio Restaurant and Lounge - Concord

The service was outstanding. When my daughter came to visit, I took her out to lunch and we were both impressed. The meal was exceptionally well-cooked, something I had never experienced in a restaurant before. I enjoyed every bite and finished the whole meal.

Went for a Paint night. We showed up an hour before to get some food. The food was ok, but the waitress was extremely rude and slow. After our meal, we went to pay for the bill (which wasn't brought to us.) She told us the amount, paid it without thinking much. Then we asked for a bill. She spent extra time, fumbling around trying to print it (or something,) when we finally got it (which was a non-detailed bill (only the final amount,) we noticed there was an extra 15% charge on top. The excuse was "because its paint night." We were not informed that there was going to be any additional charges and certainly not expecting one to hide these by not giving us a detailed bill. I asked to revert the charges, said it was impossible. Decided the fight was not worth the effort, left with bad feelings. Wont return.

Pleasantly surprised to find that the dishes are authentically Indonesian as opposed to "inspired".
