Sabor a Mar - Comporta

Ten days in comporta, nine we have fed in sabor a mar: excellent fresh fish mostly grilled, hearty fish and beside dishes, plentiful fruit cocktails prepared by barmann, professional service, very clean; I would definitely recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

A friendly atmosphere, a professional and yet warm service, a pleasant sitting arrangement on the way, away from the crowd, not far from the center, and delicious eating! we enjoyed every minute and court: snuggle and snuggle.

Came during lunch and the seafood here is amazing. Everything we ordered was fresh. In the instance you do not see anything off he menu the staff will prepare the seafood anyway you like it. The place has both indoor and patio seating. It is...right in town with plenty of parking and only 3 mins to the beach. Highly recommend coming her for lunch, dinner or drinks!

I discovered this restaurant by accident...and Im reluctant in writing this review....because simple things must stay like that...simple not crowded.... Using the word simple Grilled fish is just amazing...the grill man is a master. Meat ? The wild boar(porco preto) is to die for. The...wine list is not great but when you try the white sangria....nothing matters...is just the best I have try...passion fruit...mint leaf...apples...oranges...well nothing is boring after you drank it Staff is fun and very friendly...the owner a good host....and in the end the bill is a nice suprise.. A WINNER

There are some restaurants in comporta and during my week stay I have tried most of them. but the one that I liked was the best o sabor do mar (taste of the sea.) the first thing that meets it is the simple and airy. ambiente and especially the friendly service. the guy on the cocktails is a hoot. eating is simple, fresh and tasty. how the best Portuguese food should be...(one of the poncy nouveau kitchen that they get in lisbon.) I will naturally recommend the fish and its refreshment that some of them catch from the night. the sides are all they expect from the top Portuguese tariff. there are also and extensive wine list and the sweets look fantastic. although not a 'dok' man himself. all in all when you visit comporta, this place is one must and they cannot miss it as it is centrally on the road. obrigado a tudos!. the octopus and the squid do not let you fall.
