Villa Pizza

I've driven by this restaurant for about 20 years, and tonight my wife finally tried it. Soooo good. The pizza reminded me of the small pizza back home on the east coast. The service was fantastic as well. We will definitely be back.

We ordered dinner to go at Roman Villa Pizzeria at 3005 N Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. We are from the Northeast and have been trying to find a good Italian Restaurant in the area for three and a half years and we are still looking. This however is by far some of the worst “Italian” food we’ve had in quite some time. We haven’t tried the pizza yet because we’re just a bit tired of pizza so we ordered main courses the “House Specialties” portion of the menu. We got the Linguini with Clams and the Roman Villa Chicken. The linguini with clams was just that. They took linguini, dumped some canned clams on top and threw it in a bowl. No flavor to it at all. It comes with cheap white bread and a salad made up entirely of iceberg lettuce. No tomatoes, no carrots, no peppers. The Roman Villa Chicken was even worse if that’s possible. The chicken was put in the microwave and/or boiled. No flavor at all. The linguini was stiff because there was no oil on it. They threw some uncooked tomato slices on top of the chicken and some cheap half-melted mozzarella with black pepper and garlic. If you want to get full on empty flavorless starch, then this is the place for you. The portions are large!

Family run restaurant with gourmet sauces, homemade sausage, and mid-western (Chicago) thin style Italian pizza.

Great little place so don’t be fooled.... we prefer mom and pop places over chains and this family owned Italian place hits the small, small, quaint and excellent service and food. Wife had the lasagna and I had pizza..... definitely a place we will visit every time we come to the Springs

I wanted pizza at 8:30 pm when I got off. Villa Pizza at the Citadel Mall had a variety of pizza, pasta and salad hot and ready. Thank you Oscar and Michelle for great service and your friendly smiles.
