Bidrage med feedbackBeautiful and the restaurant there is nice too. The tram will take you to the base of the falls for 4 bucks, it is probably a mile walk without it. One of the two spots has an elevator where you can see the falls from higher up, if you want to get to the top of the falls it is a lot of stairs but there is spot to take a break.
Ok ok I say this as an avid hiker who usually refuses to pay for “attractions” involving nature this was well worth the money if you have anyone in town that has a more moderate fitness level or issue walking/hiking.First the falls are really nice. They’re not Niagara Falls. But they’re beautiful.Second my mom uses a walker. She simply can’t go many places in COS because the ground is uneven. Seven falls allowed her to walk around Cheyenne canyon but the tram and the elevator allowed her to be a little independent in where she spent her time.Third I got to take my family to a really beautiful spot with an elevator and chairs and anything my mom might have needed. It was a really relaxing day. My dad, at 75, climbed to the top of the falls and had a blast. The staff were incredible the entire day. Seriously kudos to the Broadmoor for hiring and training their staff to be helpful, aware and gracious. We don’t have a lot to do in the springs if you want to stay on paved ground, which obviously makes sense. But it was so nice to be able to take my parents to something that shows off the nature nearby without my mom having to drag her walker through washed out trails. (I know..I know..we are getting her all terrain wheels next time she visits)
This was my kids' favorite place to visit on our vacation. They had a tram that my daughter could take as she can't walk much for $4. If you can walk I recommend walking . Beautiful views and a stream you can cool off in. Says no food or drink, but everyone had water, and some brought coolers.Parking: Do not go to the address listed on the place 1045 Lower Gold Camp Rd google maps will take you to the falls. There is no parking there type in The Norris Penrose Event Center and it will take you to the right place.Fees: $18 adult $16 for kids and $4 for Tram if needed.
You can enjoy the Seven Falls without going up the stairs! The elevator carved out of the rock was impressive. The observation deck was great to watch the people coming and going. There was not that much room to stop and observe if you walked the steps along the falls. The scenery was breathtaking walking up the canyon.
This place was amazing to visit, definitely a must if you're visiting anywhere within an hour of it. The trails are all kept neat and picked up along with having clear paths to ensure you don't lose track of where you're heading. The trams are very timely and worth the $4 a ticket. The restrooms are very clean but there's no handicap access.
