Tao's Oriental Cuisine

The soups and dishes at this restaurant are fantastic, and the location is very convenient. They've recently updated the interior, creating a nice atmosphere for dining, but I personally enjoy their takeout experience more. They package everything exceptionally well.

Have you changed owners or chefs? We used to love the quality of your food, but our recent order from last week was inedible. We kept it simple with soup, egg rolls, and wings, and unfortunately, all three were poorly prepared. The only bright spot was the friendly attitude of the person who gave me my takeout, which is why I'm giving you two stars.

I order from Tao's restaurant at least 1 to 3 times a month, and I've always been impressed by the quality and consistency of the food. Personally, I can't get enough of the hot and sour soup and the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken fried rice is also phenomenal as a main course. It's my go-to comfort food on tough days, and I've never had a bad dish. There are plenty of options to choose from, but I tend to stick with my favorites. I also appreciated the little cake they included with my order on Mother's Day—it was a delightful touch! I really enjoy the atmosphere and the food at this restaurant. Their fried rice is the best I've had anywhere!

I absolutely love their Green Curry (I always order it spicy with tofu) and the Thai Basil (medium spice with chicken). Their meat egg rolls and fried wontons are also delicious. However, I do have some concerns about consistency; a few years ago, I didn't always receive great food. I suspect it might have been due to different chefs working on different days, which meant my experience varied. Fortunately, they have been consistently excellent lately, and the meals I have delivered arrive hot, indicating they haven’t been sitting around waiting for the delivery person. I’m completely addicted to the Green Curry. I tell myself I should try other dishes, but when it's time to order, I can’t resist getting the Green Curry. It’s just that good!
