Dick's Delicatessen - Commack

The best egg sandwiches, the best beef sandwiches, and the best salads can all be found here. A few weeks ago, I stopped by and ordered the potatoes and eggs on a roll. It's rare to find a place that doesn't boil the potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly—never soggy—and they were well-mixed with the potatoes. It was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've had in a long time, and they really understood what I wanted. The staff, though seasonal, is knowledgeable and polite, and the place is always clean and well-organized. Dick's feels like a classic deli, a style that's hard to come by these days. Would it be possible to add some homemade bread pudding to the menu?

The person in the kitchen, who referred to himself as the "kitchen guy," took my order while his mask was hanging off his chin and seemed completely unfamiliar with the sandwiches listed on the menu. While the food itself was quite good, my main concern was with him. If you're working in the kitchen, it's essential to know what you're serving, and it's absolutely necessary to keep your mask properly covering your nose at all times. I'd consider returning solely because my sandwich was excellent, haha.

I and my Hubby went to lunch. I have Salsalito turkey and Cheddar sandwich and he has chicken fillets sandwich. To keep it short the sandwiches were both amazing. It was worth about 12 dollars and every piece of it. The sandwiches were made perfect to please!! That was my first time I live about 20 minutes away, but I would definitely come back for another one. The people who helped us were also pleasant. Will be back...

We frequently order from this restaurant, and the food is consistently delicious and prepared exactly as we request. We usually order breakfast items like the egg sandwich or a turkey heel, and no matter how many modifications we make (like scooping out the dough or crispy bacon), they always get it right. And I have to mention her potato knish—it's absolutely AMAZING! Last but certainly not least, the staff is always friendly, kind, and truly exceptional. Five stars!

Ricky and his staff are the best. 3 4ft heroes and salad ordered. Not only does it taste brilliant the presentation was beautiful. I recommend this Deli. 10.
