We had dinner at a restaurant called Kimera, which we were told it’s the same restaurant as Aldea. We ordered a T bone steak. It was cooked in the kitchen to medium rare, brought to the table, then re cooked on a heated stone then served to the plate at this point, it’s almost fully cooked. The meat was extremely fatty. The heated stone only stays hot for a short while and needs to be changed every 10 15min, which was inconvenient. Dish came with some fries. Menu was over priced and had poor availability: steak was 1.2kg at €90, many items were not available including tomato salad, croquettes which were quite shocking for a Spanish restaurant. The English menu looked completely different to Spanish version. Maybe we just had the misfortune to order the wrong item, compared to many other reviews, or maybe this is a different restaurant. Overall was an okay experience, but quite average to the Spanish standard.
