Au Petit Cuchet - Combloux

We found this restaurant by chance and decided to dine here. We were very nicely surprised. The food was absolutely great, the service was also excellent. The view during the day is breathtaking. The interior of the restaurant is very pleasant. We often go to Combloux, then we're definitely back.

We went from our Chalet Alpen Valley hôtel in the dark looking for our first meal in Combloux. This place was highly recommended by our hotel staff. I'm glad we arrived early at 7:00. Staff had her meal while we drink in the centre of the restaurant. We waited for our fondue and raclette. One of my children chose Steak and she wasn't disappointed at all. Waiters speak English and French. Very friendly, attentive and come with very good advice. My husband and I were looking for fondue and my 7-year-old wanted raclette. The waiter advised us to get only one fondue, as our portions would be much for the three of us, cheese lovers. We also have the mouse au chocolat and champignon meringue with Don Papa Rum sorbet!!! For those who do not know Don Papa is a rum from the Philippines where I am. So it is nice to see the innovation of Au Petit Cuchet to integrate a good rum into one of their signature desserts!

This area of France is the first place where I meet gourmet restaurants at the ski slopes. Very strange in my view. Fortunately, this is not called a gourmet restaurant, but has good food for fair prices. I had the meal of the...day, which was very good, the food is all local specialties and they are also specialized in fondue and raclette. Good for groups or families or couples. It was busy when we were there, but the staff was friendly, plus the menu shows gluten-free and vegetarian options. Parking is next to him, but we went to him on snowshoes, or you can ski to him. Worth a visit.

We ate there twice and use the beautiful weather to eat outside on the large terrace. The food was top-class, really delicious and the staff was super friendly and also spoke good English! We often come to Combloux and know all the restaurants nearby. This is our favorite! Huge parking outside.

They take reservations and they cater to your seating preferences; which is important when you consider the breathtaking vista. The service is always friendly and accurate. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonnable. We always try to take our guests there for...a meal during their visit and we are disappointed when they are closed for their seasonal vacations. We cannot count the number of our visits anymore. There is parking right next to the building and more just down the driveway in the ski area parking lot.
