Bidrage med feedbackBeen here a couple of nights for Dinnerthe place has a good interior and the decor is Asianthere is a Mini brewery at the Premises and the Beer is GoodThe portions of snacks could be more but its Ok for a place like Red Gingerthe Small Sauce Bowls need to be slightly Bigger as after dipping 2 starters there seems to be no sauce left in the small bowlThe food is World class and After eating at Michilen Star Restaurants Abroad I feel the Food Is extremely Good
We had a great family dining. Nice ambience, food was excellent with good service. It was Wednesday and was serving free drink to ladies
Good Food. Offers a good meal for a decent fee in south goa which has a dearth of places anyways. Sushi is americanised but i had no expectations. Other fare is standard. Cannot call it authentic.
Det er som å komme inn i en annen verden. Deilig airconditionert lokale, nydelig innredning og fantastisk mat og service. Hvis du vil bytte ut den indiske maten en dag anbefales dette stedet på det varmeste.
I took my family to dinner here a few days ago. The restaurant has just been done up, is very clean and follows the 'lounge/nightclub' style. On the plus side, there is a lot of space between tables and the seating is comfortable. On the other hand, the place is a little noisy due to the hard reflective surfaces; lot of tile on the wall etc. The food however was rather disappointing. To start we had a plate of batter fried calamari with wasabi mayo and fried chicken wontons. The calamari were rather tasteless and were short on salt. However, they were fried well and crispy. The wontons were slightly leathery; we got the feeling that they had been fried earlier and re-fried just before being served. This was followed by soup; duck with chinese cabbage and chicken with wild mushrooms. Neither was very good. There was a decent amount of meat in both. However, the duck was way overcooked and the flavour was predomnantly of soy sauce; still, it was OK. The chicken soup was more of a let down. We thought it was a Chinese soup but it had coconut milk in it and it had that slightly rancid edge to it that you get when you used canned coconut milk. After that we had chicken with shitake and water chestnuts, Singaporean noodles and burnt garlic rice. All three had an excess of chili flavour. The servers were not of much help, being of the "everything is good" variety and did not know much about the dishes. Also, the cutlery was oddly shaped and difficult to use.Starters and soups are about Rs. 220-Rs.280, Mains in the Rs.300-350 range with a few about Rs.470 (Peking Duck, braised Duck). Some of the seafood of course was listed "as per size" as is common. Without drinks, average cost would come to Rs,400 to Rs.600 per head.To sum up, the owners seem to have focused more on the presentation of the restaurant (oddly shaped black plates, lots of buddha statues, water hookhas outside, red lighting etc). Its a very nice place, but the food is the ordinary 'Indian Chinese' variety
