Bidrage med feedbackGreat food, but pricey (which is no surprise and a reflection of prices in general . If you want a relatively quiet, relaxed dining experience, this isn 't the place for you. It was cramped, crowded, and extremely noisey (or, in OpenTable rating-speak, Energetic . Plus, a constant stream of cold air was blowing into our area of the restaurant (there was a noticeable temperature difference between where we sat in a rear corner and the rest of the space . We 'll certainly go to The Pearl again, but not the Short North location. We 'll try Dublin to see if it 's more comfortable and less energetic. In terms of recommending The Pearl to friends (or to anyone reading this review , although we responded No, that isn 't a reflection on the restaurant itself. Rather, it 's a matter of preference. And, since there wasn 't a free table or chair in the place, many people love having dinner in an energetic atmosphere. We simply don 't.
The waitress wasn’t very attentive and the chicken and waffles were just ok this time (the chicken tasted like it had been sitting and wasn’t fresh).
Looking for something unique (which is most everything in the Short North! and decided upon The Pearl. Great choice! We enjoyed craft beers, raw oysters, shrimp grits, harbor salad. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere charming.
Server was excellent and very attentive. The happy hour deals are awesome! Cocktails were fixed to perfection.
Great setting, good food, great service, we had a great time overall!! it is a bit loud- would be great if there is an area that has more sound reducing things? or a private room if able
