Richard's Chicken Coop - Columbus

Enjoyed the Elvis Presley milk shake made by Lisa at The Chicken Coop/The Coop Café along with the delicious chicken and corn bread. On my next visit, I'll try the Banana Pudding milk shake and the Cheesecake milk shake. Come support the small business located at the Cloumbus Farmer's Market. Highly recommend ??Food: 5/5

Ordered the jumbo wings and chicken gizzards. The wings were not fresh, but would be better right out the fryer. The breading would be great if fresh. When ordering you take a number.. they call your number and you order . They make your order and there you go. I went on a Saturday, so they were busy .I was served yhe same chicken that was sitting there since I was waiting thru the whole process. The chicken gizzards were the star of the show. Fried fresh... probably coz nobody orders them . If not for the gizzards then 1 star would be the score. The Coop cafe has great service btw. I ordered a chicken sandwich( the hot mama) from there and it was good. Very nice staff . Try the gizzards .

I visited Richards Chicken Coop at the Columbus market twice. Disappointing and not worth it. The restaurant is inconvenient, overpriced, flavorless, slow, and seems to only rely on its reputation. Richard should thank WaWa for keeping Royal Farms out of Jersey. Royal Farms has superior fried chicken and better potato wedges.

Chicken here is always delicious. Expect a line on weekends.

Chik Fila who? I just enjoyed one of the best authentic homemade fried chicken sandwiches in my life. Fried chicken breast cooked to perfection, moist and succulent. I got their sauce sandwich with their own homemade ranch and buffalo sauce. Nice touch of homemade chips and pickle. Topping it off with tasty real sweet tea. I'll be back!!!
