I made a reservation through the Open Table app. There was no hostess, no clear check in stand and the bartender ignored us after awkwardly standing there. We just left. Then the app wouldnât let me cancel. I tried later and it gave me a number to call...which led to a voicemail Was contacted by management and they def made things right.
We miss the formal dining room in the past, but we really enjoyed our meals and the ambiente, the renovated hotel lobby and the new dining room environment.
Ridiculous that an important hotel has such naked bones and tiny menu restaurant.
I just hope that the food was subpar because we had late in we had pizza for the children who tasted the sauce like ketchup sugar, my man got fondue that was not creamy and separated, I got the cheese plate I loved, I had no complaining about it at all! However, I ordered the lemon basilikum cream brulee, which was clear was not cream brulee at all, but was a lemon bar, it had even a crust on it no basilikum taste at all. my man got the apple desert, which was on an unsweetened pizzateig crust that was not eaten. all in the family complained about their food, I was the only one who liked a part of my meal.
Local Charcuterie was phenomenal. Half chicken and salmon were mediocre. Loved the atmosphere on the patio. Stephanie was friendly and took her time. A nice evening. Probably wouldn't return. Value of the food was way overpriced.
