The food and coffee are consistently amazing, set in a stylish environment. Plus, the staff are very friendly.

The coffee was excellent, and the prices were quite affordable.

Heirloom is a true hidden gem at TOSU and undoubtedly the best café on campus. Most undergraduates are unaware of its existence, giving it an atmosphere more suited to the mature young adult crowd and many music students. Heirloom appears to embrace this vibe, as they do not accept any dining hall dollars. Everything on the menu is made from locally sourced ingredients and is absolutely delicious. The staff is exceptionally warm and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend a more wonderful place on campus!

The service, food, and drinks were all great. I highly recommend trying the almond cookie for dessert. The photo below shows the Korean veggies with tofu. However, it can get quite loud at times, making it difficult to study or concentrate, especially during peak hours.

Heirloom is situated in the basement of the Wexner Center at Ohio State University. This independently operated restaurant offers a menu filled with fresh, local dishes and a wide range of beverages, including tea and coffee. During my lunch visit, I had a buffalo chicken sandwich accompanied by a side salad, and I was thoroughly impressed. The salad was expertly mixed with a delicious dressing that complemented the greens perfectly. The sandwich was well-prepared, properly cooked, and seasoned to perfection.
