Bravo Cucina Italiana - Columbus

Did a takeout order and when we arrived, we saw an entire bus of a school hockey team had the staff swamped. Our order took longer than we thought to receive, but the staff worked as hard as they could to get out the orders under the circumstances. They accommodated rude customers ahead of us. I’ve been in similar situations in food service jobs and it’s not easy. Special shout out to the hostess for doing everything she could to keep up!

First thing my mom asks for Moscato and the server says to look on the menu, we ask if he recommends any sweet wine and he says he doesn't know anything about wine. I knew he was going to be a bad server when I heard that. Once he brought the wine, he accidentally spilled it on my mom. we had to move to another table. We got our order taken and waited for quite a bit. and after that time he came back checking if he got our order right which had me feeling he forgot to put the order in(which he did). oh yes, when we finished our appetizers he didn't take the plates away, even after finishing our meals he didn't take a single plate away. after we asked for our check, took him 5 business days

The food and service here is usually very good. However on this occasion the service was very poor and extremely slow. I had to refill my water glass in the restroom. Once the main course arrived, the top of my fettuccini was cold and dried out, another sent back their cold serving of lasagna, mashed potatoes were cold, etc. Apparently they were understaffed that evening although no excuse for cold food that was obvious had been prepared long before being served. Although the dinning room was sparsely occupied, we were placed next to a quite loud party of 20 making dinner conversation difficult.

After our non-turkey dinner, TJ (assume manager) was great; he offered us a full Thanksgiving dinner pie as take home since they had some dinners left over at closing. Food was good, the bonus take home was good and the service was great.
