Bidrage med feedbackThis family-run restaurant has an impressive selection of vegan dishes that would make even larger vegan restaurants envious. The atmosphere is warm and the staff are polite and welcoming. The owners seem patient and it's clear that children are raised in a happy environment. It's a fantastic spot for a leisurely lunch.
This small hotdog restaurant has an all-vegan menu! The food is delicious and the atmosphere has a southern vibe with great quality products.
I was passing through town and my sister recommended Jordan’s Girls. Being a food enthusiast, I am always willing to travel for vegan food. I have tried vegan breakfast and pancakes at various places all over the U.S. and have often been disappointed. However, at Jordan’s Girls, I ordered the Big Breakfast with banana pancakes, grits, hash browns, eggs, and sausage, and it was absolutely delicious! The pancakes were exceptional and I was impressed by the outstanding customer service. The owner and her mother even took the time to chat with me, creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that made my visit enjoyable. Although I wanted to give them 5 stars, I was unable to do so on Happy Cow because they are not a fully vegetarian or vegan establishment. I still recommend making a visit to Jordan’s Girls a priority, as their vegan options are nut, gluten, and soy free, which is a definite plus in my opinion.
Owners are hugely knowledgeable about vegan, anything on the hot dog menu can be made vegan. On saturday they have vegan meals, today’s was chicken and waffles. Hot dogs are a little small, i’d recommend getting two or atleast a side with your dog.
In town for the day, I was thrilled to discover this place and happily noted that a sign on the door said masks were required..however, as I stood there awaiting my food (which I’d paid for over the phone) it slowly dawned at me that none of the employees (including the ones in the kitchen) were wearing masks. Also, a few apparent customers actually walked back and forth into the kitchen, the cashier did not wash hands between handling money and food, and a young man in socks- no gloves or mask- was also handling and passing out people’s orders. Anyone reading this knows how hard it is to have one’s vegan dreams dashed, especially on the road, but I simply had to toss it. It’s the closest I’d been to so many unmasked strangers in the past year, and sadly, they were handling my food. Very sad and hungry now.
