Sakitumi - Columbia

A few weeks ago, I visited this restaurant with friends, and the service was exceptional. Our waitress, Amber, was incredibly friendly and addressed all of our questions. She was attentive to our needs and never showed any frustration, even though I tend to be a very picky eater. I will definitely return and specifically ask for her. She made the whole experience enjoyable and memorable.

This is a lovely restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere, clean environment, and very friendly staff. I have to echo one of the other reviews here: the way they cut the sashimi resembles meat cutting rather than the traditional Japanese style. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was certainly good. I will definitely be returning!

We went for Sunday Brunch. I had the salmon over grits, my daughter had the Mary's Avo toast, my son had the basics with sausage. Wife just had fruit. Fruit was fresh and plentiful, the salmon over grits was very good, nice quality cut of salmon, pepperjack grits. Avo toast was well flavored and had fruit with it as well. Super busy time but the staff was great and the atmosphere was very conducive to conversation.

Service 1/10 Food 1/10 Drinks 8/10 First of all it was a hassle to get the server Parker to come to our table. We kept getting told we?re short staffed which is understandable but then he gets on his phone while we go to the bar for waters. Then ordering drinks and food was a struggle to do at once, I don?t recommend brunch here. Also the parties that came in after us had to flag down servers to seat them, it just seems that they were not prepared to serve today.

We came to ball out. Got the sushi sliders and they were amazing. Got 3 rolls (Raptor, Samurai, King Kong), and we loved them all. We were in and out within an hour. The spicy Mayo sauce is my favorite. We?ll be back regularly.
